Sourcing Coordinator
At Fjällräven, we believe in creating outdoor gear that lasts, and we know it takes trusted partnerships and thoughtful sourcing to make that happen. If you enjoy working closely with suppliers to bring great products to life responsibly, and you’re ready to grow your sourcing expertise, this could be the role for you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
At Fjällräven, sourcing is about more than securing materials and production — it’s about building trusted partnerships that support quality, responsibility, and long-term value. As a Sourcing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our supplier network, working closely with suppliers, internal teams, and sourcing leadership.
You will be part of our Sourcing team in Solna, collaborating daily with colleagues across Product, Materials, and CSR. In this role, you help ensure that our sourcing standards are met, supplier data is accurate, and development processes run smoothly — from onboarding and cost negotiations to performance follow-up and risk mitigation.
You will report to the Sourcing & Material Director and work in a global context, with suppliers across Europe and Asia, contributing to sourcing strategies that balance quality, cost, responsibility, and capacity.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In more detail, you will focus on the following:
Participate in onboarding new suppliers and identifying new vendors for specific categories, ensuring Fenix Outdoor supplier standards are met
Lead cross-development activities, quotations, and cost negotiations with assigned suppliers based on direction from the Sourcing Manager
Build, maintain, and support long-term supplier relationships, including supplier communication and occasional supplier visits
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate supplier performance through KPI scorecards, analytics, and regular reporting to mitigate risk and support sourcing and margin strategies
Maintain and oversee supplier information, including PLM data, factory traceability, and performance documentation
Support identification and management of supplier capability and capacity gaps in line with sourcing strategy
Collaborate closely with Product, Material, CSR teams, suppliers, and mills to ensure responsible sourcing and aligned development strategies
WHO YOU ARE
We think you could be a great match if you bring the following:
At least 2 years of operational experience in consumer products, preferably within apparel and/or outdoor, gained in a global organization with local markets
Hands-on experience working with suppliers and factories in Europe and Asia, with a solid understanding of sourcing requirements and CSR considerations
Strong knowledge of the textile industry, including sourcing, production, factory operations, and data management
Ability to read and interpret factory audits and translate findings into product, process, and efficiency improvements, including capacity planning
Strong analytical skills combined with commercial understanding and a data-driven approach
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset — you challenge the status quo, take initiative, and drive ideas from concept to completion
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
