As a Merchandise Manager for Fjällräven Germany, you will ensure that our Brand Corners are always stocked with the right products, in the right quantities, and presented in the best possible way. Your work is analysed, hands-on and focused on the daily operations of assortment, stock flow, collaboration, and performance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage the local base assortment for all Fjällräven Brand Corners ensuring alignment with global brand direction.
- Plan and manage the assortment for the Brand Corners throughout the season — from initial setup to in-season adjustments.
- Develop and maintain replenishment processes and min/max logic to secure strong product availability and stock flow.
- Analyse weekly sales, stock levels, and sell-through to identify opportunities and quickly translate them into actions for the Brand Corners.
- Handle OTB, forecasting, and purchasing budgets to keep inventory balanced and avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Work closely with Global Demand Planning, Sales, and Account Planning to align pre-orders, replenishment, and Brand Corner needs.
- Define purchasing quantities at SKU and product group level and communicate them accurately and on time.
- Monitor in-season performance, stock levels, and in-store execution to ensure a premium and consistent Fjällräven presentation.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Collaborate closely with the Brand Experience Manager, who ensures sales excellence on the shop floors and gathers regular assortment feedback (breadth and depth) from Brand Ambassadors.
- Integrate feedback from Brand Ambassadors into assortment adjustments and replenishment decisions.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Visual Merchandising (VM) Team, using their input on product density, fixture performance, and sales per furniture to optimize Brand Corner setups.
- Coordinate closely with the Marketing Team on seasonal marketing topics, ensuring that assortment availability, product depth, and presentation support ongoing and upcoming campaigns.
- Translate on-floor and marketing insights into adjustments in sizing curves, depth per SKU, replenishment priorities, and seasonal focus areas.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning, buying, or assortment management—preferably within outdoor, sportswear, or premium retail.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and planning tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
- Hands-on mentality is a strong plus.
