ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Payroll Specialist at Fenix Outdoor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant with Swedish laws and regulations – with a particular focus on our retail business. You will be the go-to person for our expense management system, supporting both Swedish operations and its rollout across Europe.
You will be part of a team of 3 Payroll Specialists, responsible for accurate payroll processing every month for our Swedish employees.
This is an opportunity to combine your payroll expertise with hands-on system responsibility while contributing to a company driven by sustainability, passion, and teamwork.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In more detail, you will focus on the following:
- Process and administer payroll for Sweden, with a focus on retail employees
- Maintain accurate payroll records (salaries, taxes, leave, sick pay) according to local laws and collective agreements
- Be the first point of contact for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners regarding payroll and expenses
- Prepare and submit reports and documentation to Skatteverket and Försäkringskassan
- Act as System Administrator for the expense management system Findity
- Review and process employee expense reports and reimbursement claims for Swedish entities
- Support the European rollout of our expense system in other countries
- Ensure compliance with Swedish payroll and tax legislation
- Support continuous improvements in payroll and expense processes
WHO YOU ARE
We believe you are a team-oriented person who enjoys supporting colleagues and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma with training in payroll, or a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration in Sweden
- Experience within retail payroll administration is a strong plus
- Good knowledge of Swedish payroll and tax legislation
- Experience from a commonly used Swedish payroll system, previous experience with Hogia and Quinyx would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working with retail collective bargaining agreements is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and confident in handling sensitive information
- Fluent in both Swedish and English
Based in our Solna office, this full-time role reports to the Director Payroll & HR Services. You will work closely with colleagues in HR, retail and becoming an integral part of the daily operations that support our mission to enable more people to spend time outdoors. Our office policy allows for one work-from-home day per week; on the remaining days we work from the office.
