Visual Marketing Designer
Consulting Role - 12 months
Fjällräven is looking for a Visual Marketing Designer who can bring our brand to life through thoughtful, creative, and impactful design. In this role, you’ll create everything from campaign visuals to retail materials, helping us connect with people in meaningful ways. If you love turning ideas into engaging visuals, and are ready to take the next step in career – we can’t wait to hear from you!
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Visual Marketing Designer, you will be part of our Global Creative Design & Studio team, working closely with Global Visual Desigers and the wider Creative Design & Studio team. You will create campaign visuals and retail marketing materials for both digital and physical channels — from social media and email to in-store signage. Your work will help ensure that Fjällräven is represented with consistency, creativity and clarity across all touchpoints.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and produce a wide range of campaign and retail marketing materials: Catalogues (Worktool), print, email, paid ads, social media content, in-store materials, hangtags, signage and seasonal assets.
- Collaborate with internal and external creatives — copywriters, motion designers, and content creators — to deliver compelling, user-centric brand experiences.
- Contribute to seasonal updates and campaign design for both Fjällräven stores and wholesale retail spaces.
- Create assets for retail touchpoints, including catalogues, point of sale materials, window displays, digital signage, and more.
- Ensure consistency of brand guidelines, storytelling and user experience across all channels.
- Stay up to date on industry trends in retail marketing, content strategy, and brand design to continuously push our creative forward.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of experience as a Visual Designer, ideally with agency and/or in-house backgrounds.
- Experience working on large, cross-channel brand initiatives — ideally in outdoor, lifestyle, or sport industries.
- Excellent English skills and have a strong portfolio showcasing retail marketing design capabilities.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and other digital design tools such as Figma.
- Strong understanding for Design and Visual Merchandising.
- Experience in photo editing, and video editing skills being nice-to-have
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to turn creative ideas into impactful executions.
