Global Head of events & partnerships, Fjällräven

You’ll be responsible for shaping the strategy and execution of our global events, ambassador programs, and strategic partnerships—creating community-driven moments that strengthen brand equity, foster connection, and celebrate our commitment to the outdoors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role sits at the intersection of brand marketing, community engagement, and experiential leadership. You will drive flagship initiatives like Fjällräven Classic and Fjällräven Polar, while scaling impactful partnerships and ambassador programs that reflect our brand’s values of inclusion, sustainability, and adventure.
You’ll lead a dedicated team, collaborate cross-functionally across creative, content, and digital departments, and oversee an annual budget to deliver premium, measurable experiences that grow our global community and loyalty.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the global strategy for brand events, partnerships, and ambassador programs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, including a (Senior) Events Manager and an Ambassador & Partnerships Specialist.
- Champion community-driven brand experiences that reflect Fjällräven’s heritage, purpose, and long-term vision.
- Collaborate with GTM, content, and regional teams to embed experiential storytelling into broader brand campaigns.
- Oversee the execution of large-scale global events that are premium, engaging, and safe.
- Develop the team to maintain playbooks, safety protocols, and toolkits for consistent event and partnership activation's worldwide.
- Lead the strategic growth and representation of Fjällräven’s ambassador community and strategic partnerships.
- Partner with creative teams to source and amplify authentic stories from ambassadors and participants.
- Track and report on key KPIs including engagement, community growth, and experience quality.
- Own and optimize the annual budget for events, partnerships, and ambassador initiatives.
- Ensure a data-informed approach to improving output, impact, and ROI of all experiential programs.

WHO YOU ARE
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent
- 8+ years in brand marketing, events, or partnerships in the lifestyle, outdoor, or consumer goods sectors
- Proven success in scaling ambassador or community-led programs
- Experience delivering high-impact global events and managing large-scale experiential campaigns
- Strong project and budget management skills with experience owning results
- Background working in international or matrixed organizations
- Passion for the outdoors and nature-connected living
Skills & Knowledge
- Deep understanding of experiential marketing, community-building, and brand storytelling
- Strategic thinker with strong operational and leadership capabilities
- Collaborative communicator skilled in cross-functional coordination
- Fluent in English (Swedish and/or German is a plus)
