As we continue to strengthen our global position in the outdoor industry, we are now looking for an experienced and visionary Global Head of Brand Communications to lead our global storytelling and brand engagement efforts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Global Head of Brand Communications, you will be at the heart of shaping and executing Fjällräven’s global communication strategy. Your mission? To elevate our leadership in hiking and trekking, accelerate growth in biking and mountaineering, and build a strong voice in the outdoor lifestyle space.
Working closely with cross-functional teams—marketing, product, retail, PR, and digital—you will bring Fjällräven’s heritage, sustainability values, and deep connection to nature to life. You’ll lead a dedicated team of social media and PR specialists, ensuring powerful and consistent storytelling across all touchpoints.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and execution of the global brand communications strategy
- Position social media as a core channel and PR as a key driver of visibility globally and in key markets
- Ensure brand storytelling is compelling, consistent, and integrated across owned, earned, and paid channels
- Drive corporate and crisis communication strategies and execution
- Collaborate with global teams and external partners to amplify campaigns and initiatives
- Leverage collection to tap into the outdoor lifestyle segment
WHAT YOU´LL DELIVER
- Fully integrated global brand campaigns with embedded social, PR, and ambassador storytelling
- Strong PR results and media visibility in key markets
- A social media strategy that aligns with brand values and fuels engagement
- A cohesive and well-managed annual communication calendar
- Clear KPIs around brand awareness, engagement, campaign impact, and ambassador reach
WHO YOU ARE
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent
- 7+ years in brand communications or marketing, ideally in the outdoor, fashion, or lifestyle industries
- Proven track record of leading global strategies, campaigns, and social media initiatives
- Experience managing global PR strategies
- Familiarity with the outdoor sector and a passion for activities like trekking, biking, and climbing
- Strong leadership and project management skills in cross-functional and international contexts
- Previous experience in a matrix or global organization is an advantage
