ABOUT THE ROLE
As our new Art Director you will play a key role in shaping and developing our visual direction of the Fjällräven brand globally. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver consistent, high-impact creative across digital, retail, and campaign platforms— making sure our storytelling feels as authentic and timeless as the gear we make.
The position is based in our office in Solna, Stockholm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the concept development and execution of concepts for global brand and product Lifestyle campaigns.
- Guide creative expression across Fjällräven’s marketing channels, including digital, social, print, and in-store.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Retail to ensure a unified brand identity.
- Lead photoshoots and video productions—from moodboarding and casting to on-site art direction and post-production.
- inspire a network of internal and external creatives to produce consistent and impactful storytelling.
- Keep our visual voice clear and consistent, while finding new ways to grow and evolve it—so our brand always feels relevant, inspiring, and true to who we are.
- Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and digital teams to develop multi-platform narratives.
- Support in measuring the impact of creative work and align visual direction with key marketing KPIs.
- Stay ahead of creative trends, tools, and techniques to push the Fjällräven brand forward.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re a hands-on creative with a sharp eye for detail and committed to telling stories through design. You think big but stay grounded, and you know how to bring ideas to life with purpose and craft. You bring a strong creative point of view, thrive in collaborative environments, and are eager to translate our outdoor heritage into visuals that resonate worldwide.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant education in Visual/Graphic/Interactive Design or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in art direction or visual design, ideally within lifestyle, fashion, or outdoor brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign work, digital design, and storytelling across channels.
- Proven experience in managing photo and video productions from brief to delivery.
- Excellent visual taste and a deep understanding of branding principles.
- Ability to lead creative projects independently and in collaboration with global teams.
- Fluent in English; Swedish or other languages are a strong advantage.
