Manager Own Production

About the Role
As the Manger for Own Production, you will be the strategic and operational lead for our own production partners. You’ll ensure the right products are placed with the right partners and that we consistently deliver excellence in quality, cost, and lead time - ensuring full alignment between our brands and local production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the long-term development and performance management of own production.
- Build scalable ways of working with new and existing partners.
- Monitor and improve partner quality standards, providing training and corrective actions when needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all own production partners.
- Oversee production planning, capacity utilization, and stock levels of fabrics and trims.
- Ensure production placement decisions align with targets across cost, quality, CSR, lead time, and logistics.
- Act as a strategic link between brand teams and production, fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Support product development and material strategy across internal teams and external suppliers.
- In cooperation with Materials team ensure fabric and trims library is supporting efficient local production.
- Lead training efforts for partners in PLM and internal systems, acting as liaison to our digital systems teams.
- Conduct weekly production meetings and deliver monthly reports to the steering committee.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project status, risks, and issues.
Who You Are
- A strategic production expert with deep experience in high quality apparel manufacturing.
- Proven track record of setting up own production partners.
- Proven track record of managing supplier relationships, capacity planning, and margin optimization.
- A natural communicator who thrives in collaborative cross-functional environments.
- Deeply passionate about sustainability, craftsmanship, and technical innovation in textile.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in textile production, buying, or sourcing - ideally within outdoor or technical apparel.
- Extensive knowledge of production processes, costing, and global sourcing strategies.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex supply and production cycles.
- Hands-on experience with PLM and ERP systems, with confidence in leading digital transformation in production.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align production execution with strategic goals.

Location: This position is based at our office in Solna. Regular travel and presence at our own production sites is required to succeed in the role.
