Fjällräven’s Marketing Department is looking for a Global Digital Designer to join our creative team for nine months to cover a parental leave. About the Role
As a Digital Designer, you will be responsible for driving Fjällräven’s creative digital vision, crafting visually engaging, user-focused experiences across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with teams across eCommerce, global marketing, UX/UI, and development to ensure that every digital asset aligns with our brand identity and engages our customers.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to digital marketing campaigns and content creation while managing the tools and systems that enhance Fjällräven’s digital presence and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Global Visual Design team, Copywriters, and Creative Leads to develop innovative and engaging content for campaigns and digital marketing across multiple channels.
- Act as the primary contact for eCommerce design, optimizing digital assets such as landing pages, ads, and email marketing to align with our values and customer needs.
- Oversee the Marigold Engage system and drive UX/UI improvements.
- Manage digital design tools such as Figma and Optimizely, as well as other relevant platforms like Sanity, working closely with teams to streamline design processes.
- Work with internal teams (designers, copywriters, eCommerce) to align digital strategies with business goals while ensuring technical consistency with platform requirements.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies such as AR, VR, and AI to enhance user experiences and strengthen the brand’s digital presence.
Who You Are
As a Global Digital Designer, you are a proactive, self-motivated creative professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You have a deep understanding of visual design and are comfortable working across both the creative and technical aspects of digital design. Your ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple channels and manage multiple projects will be key to your success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design, Interactive Design, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience as a Digital Designer in an agency or in-house role.
- Strong expertise in creating engaging digital content across web, email, and social media.
- Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD), Sketch, InVision, and Figma.
- Experience in photo and video editing, with an understanding of best practices in digital content creation.
- A strong portfolio showcasing digital design work across multiple platforms.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
