About the Role
As a Assistant Designer Hardware you will be a part of the R&D Team. You will be responsible for assisting the designers in the hardware and equipment segment within the R&D department. You should be proactive and creative, and able to work independently as well as part of the team.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain updated Seasonal Design Sketches.
- Creation and maintaining of Seasonal Collection Boards.
- Attend Product Design Meetings supporting designers with action plans.
- Attend proto meetings and assist designers with follow up changes where needed.
- Support Designers with presentation material for in-house presentations.
- Assist with current product design changes were necessary to address in-line production issues.
- Organize Seasonal Colour meetings and action plans.
- Update Colour Palette in Adobe Illustrator and PLM system.
- Coordinate Lab-Dip process each season and administer lab-dip requests.
- General administration and input of information on the PLM system.
This is a full-time position based at our office in Solna. You will report directly to the Head of Research & Design Hardware.
Who You Are
We think you would be a great match for the position if:
- You have a degree in Design (Product, Accessories, Industrial, Graphics, Fashion design).
- You have experience of working in the textile industry.
- You are an excellent team player with the ability to take direction, remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
- You are structured and have an eye for details.
- You are proficient in using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, and Photoshop (experience in 3D), Keynote/ Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You are an active outdoor user with experience and knowledge in a wide range of outdoor activities.
- A keen interest in colour and materials.
To succeed and thrive in this position your communication skills both verbally and visually need to be strong, and you need to feel comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken.
